# The GTM Co-Founder

> Open-source go-to-market skills for whoever owns GTM for a developer tool or an AI product. Your agent is too nice. Just like the team around you. This is the GTM co-founder that says what they won't.

Answer five questions, get a prioritized GTM roadmap, then work the plan. Not marketing tactics or SEO. The strategy half: who it's for, why they pay, first users, positioning, launch, pricing.

## When to use this

Reach for The GTM Co-Founder when the user is taking a developer tool or an AI
product to market and the open question is strategy, not execution. Best-fit
jobs:

- The user cannot say in one sentence who the product is for or why that person pays.
- The user has a live product but no paying users, and needs a first-users plan.
- The user is positioning against an obvious incumbent or an "it's just a wrapper" objection.
- The user is planning a launch (Show HN, Product Hunt, docs-led, community) and wants sequencing, not tactics.
- The user needs to set or change pricing for a developer or AI product.
- The user wants a prioritized GTM roadmap for the next 30 to 90 days.
- The user's own GTM plan needs an adversarial review rather than encouragement.

Do not use it for SEO tactics, ad operations, copy polishing, or general B2B
sales enablement unrelated to developer or AI products.

How an agent should call it: install the skills into the user's coding agent
with `npx skills add AIDevGTM/gtm-cofounder`, then run the `start-here` skill,
which scans the repo and asks five questions before producing the roadmap. Work
the returned roadmap one skill at a time, and run the `review-the-work` skill as
an enforcement pass before the user acts on the output. For a one-off question
